Phoenix Solicitors will be sponsoring a Charity night in aid of Horse Sense Wirral on 20th October 2022 to help raise much needed funds for the charity and to support them in the great work they do for sick and injured ponies.
Horse Sense Wirral was set up in 2009 by Amy Pirie following the very public rescue of a Horse named Herbie in 2007. Since then, they have rescued 211 horses to date and run a very successful rehoming program. They have also helped to rescue over 350 small animals with a great rehoming success rate.
Running costs for the charity stand at approximately £17,000 per month which they raise through donations and fundraising events. As nobody at Horse Sense Wirral takes a wage, all monies raised is used solely to help the animals they rescue.
Each year Phoenix Solicitors holds a charity event to help a local charity raise money. This year we thought that we would let our social media follows nominate the charity they would most like to see us support for 12mths from 1st June 2022 – 31st May 2023. As part of our partnership, we have promised to donate £10 for every case we settle, every Will we write, every Grant of Probate or Power of Attorney obtained for our clients in those 12mths. So far in 2 months we have raised £170.00 which will go to much needed feed for the horses due to the dry weather we have been experiencing recently.
On 20th October 2022 we will be sponsoring a Charity Night at Andre’s Restaurant in West Kirby. Tickets will be £35.00 each and you will receive a glass of prosecco on arrival, a 3-course meal, entertainment from David Smith the Magician and music from Tricia McTeague. £5.00 from every ticket will be donated by Andre’s to the Charity. We will also be doing a raffle and charity auction.
